બ્રેસ્ટ સેલ્ફ એક્ઝામિનેશન (BSE) કેવી રીતે કરવું?

(ગૃહે પોતાની છાતીની તપાસ કરવાની રીત)

કેમ જરૂરી છે?

  • શરૂઆતના તબક્કે કોઈ પણ અસામાન્ય ફેરફાર શોધી શકાય.

  • સમયસર તપાસથી જીવ બચાવી શકાય છે.


👉 બ્રેસ્ટ સેલ્ફ એક્ઝામિનેશન માટે સ્ટેપ્સ:

1. અરીસા ની સામે ઊભા રહીને નિહાળો

  • તમારું બંને હાથ શરીર બાજુમાં મૂકો.

  • તમારા બ્રેસ્ટનું આકાર, કદ અને રંગ ધ્યાનથી નિહાળો.

  • ચામડીમાં કોઈ ખીંચાવ, ગાબરું, લાલાશ કે સોજો છે કે નહીં તે જોવો.

હવે:

  • બંને હાથ માથા ઉપર ઉંચા કરો અને ફરીથી નિહાળો.

  • હાથ કમર પર દબાવીને ફરી નિહાળો.


2. હાથથી સ્પર્શ કરીને તપાસો (ઉભા રહી અથવા બાથરુમમાં શાવર સમયે)

  • એક હાથના આંગળીઓથી બીજું બ્રેસ્ટ હળવે દબાવો.

  • આંગળીઓના પેડ વડે ગોળ ગોળ ગતિમાં આખું બ્રેસ્ટ ચેક કરો.

  • બાજુઓ અને બાંહ નજીકનું વિસ્તાર પણ તપાસો.

  • કોઈ કઠણાઈ, ગાંઠ, દુખાવું કે બીજું અસામાન્ય લાગે છે કે નહીં તપાસો.


3. લેટીને (લમણો પડીને) તપાસો

  • પીઠે લમણો પડી જાઓ.

  • એક હાથ માથા પાછળ રાખો અને બીજા હાથથી બ્રેસ્ટ ચેક કરો.

  • આ સ્થિતિમાં બ્રેસ્ટ પાતળી થાય છે અને ગાંઠ શોધવી સરળ બને છે.


4. નીપલ તપાસો

  • નીપલમાં કોઈ પ્રવાહ (દૂધ જેવી કે લોહી જેવી વસ્તુ) આવી રહી છે કે નહીં ચેક કરો.

  • નીપલ અંદર ખેંચાઈ રહ્યો છે કે નહીં જુઓ.


🛎️ ક્યારે ડોક્ટર સાથે સંપર્ક કરવો?

  • કોઈ ગાંઠ કે સખતાઇ લાગે.

  • છાતી કે નીપલની ચામડીમાં ફેરફાર થાય.

  • નીપલમાંથી અનાયાસ પ્રવાહ આવે.

  • સોજો, લાલાશ કે સતત દુખાવું રહે.


📅 ક્યારે કરવી બ્રેસ્ટ સેલ્ફ એક્ઝામિનેશન?

  • દર મહિને એક વાર.

  • માસિક પીરિયડ પૂરા થયા પછી 5-7 દિવસમાં કરવું સૌથી યોગ્ય છે.
    (કેમ કે તે સમયે બ્રેસ્ટ નરમ હોય છે.)
